Three Quick Ways To Get Rid Of Lumps In Your Armpit

Lumps in your armpit shouldn’t be something to worry about for the most part, but it’s easy to feel anxious anyway.

Many cases of armpit lumps are usually harmless. Nonetheless, it’s essential to know what may have caused it to make it happen.

And if you think it’s something you can’t fathom, or your lump has been there for more than two weeks, and it’s getting bigger, you should speak to a doctor immediately.

At times, lumps in your armpit might be a result of incorrect shaving. For instance, when you shave, shaving sticks should glide in the direction where the hair grows and not against it.

An armpit lump is any growth on the armpit skin that shouldn’t be found there.

So, if your armpit lump occurs due to a reaction to specific tools, inflammation may occur, which can be very embarrassing.

We have listed three quick ways how you could get rid of lumps in your armpit;

    1. Apple cider vinegar

It can fight against infection because it is an antiseptic and an antibiotic agent. It functions by drying out the lumps.

To use, mix equal parts of unfiltered apple cider vinegar with water. After that, soak a cotton ball in the mixture and apply it to the affected area.

Allow for 5 minutes, rinse off with warm water and pat dry. Repeat this procedure 2 to 3 times daily to get desired results.

     2. Hot water compress

Is an effective way to reduce the size of the lump in your armpit. This is because the hot temperature helps to increase blood circulation in the area the lump is occurring.

To use, soak a clean towel in hot water. Twist and compress the towel to remove excess water. After that, place the towel under the armpit for about 5 minutes. Replicate this 2 to 3 times daily till the lump disappears.

     3. Lemon juice

Is an excellent natural astringent with anti-inflammatory properties (and vitamin C) that can relieve swelling.

Dip a cotton ball in freshly squeezed lemon juice and apply it to the lump. Allow it to stay for 20 minutes, then wash it off with warm water. Repeat this step 2 to 3 times every day for a week to get a convincing result.

Different things can cause lumps to appear in your armpit. Make sure you speak to a medical specialist if you think your lumps are due to something that’s not shaving-related.
