High blood pressure also known as hypertension, is common all over the world. In  Nigeria, about 80 million individuals live with this condition without ever getting diagnosed or getting adequate treatment.

Hypertension is a condition in which the force of the blood against the artery walls is too high. It often has no symptoms and over time if not treated can cause serious health conditions such as heart disease and stroke which can lead to death. Citrus fruits

Carrots

Carrots are another thing that can help regulate and reduce high blood pressure. They are high in phenolic compounds such as chlorogenic, p-coumaric, and caffeic acids which help relax blood vessels and reduce inflammation. Carrots can be eaten raw or cooked but however, but eating them raw may be more beneficial for reducing and regulating high blood pressure.
