Sleep apnea is a disorder in which a person’s breathing is repeatedly interrupted during sleep. If you’ve ever woken up gasping for air, this could be a sign that you have sleep apnea. 

Narcolepsy, on the other hand, is a chronic sleep disorder characterized by overwhelming daytime drowsiness and sudden attacks of sleep. Have you ever fallen asleep in the middle of a conversation? Even while standing up? Then, you may have narcolepsy.

From improving your overall quality of life to avoiding serious complications, recognizing the signs and seeking treatment can make a huge difference.
